During the initial first few weeks of our first term, Richard used Mondays and Wednesdays for a story writing bootcamp to develop our skills as writers, so we could develop a good story for our Major Film Project this year.

We went through a few TED talks about story development, I especially enjoyed the one by Andrew Stanton, as I had viewed it already a few weeks prior.

We were also given activities to do, based on how writers at Pixar develop a story and the steps/mistakes they made to get to the final result. Topics consisted of Characters, Story Structure, Visual Structure, Film Grammer and Pitching.
